I really like this! The style and color are really enjoyable. ^^
When I saw this as your featured deviation, I crossed my fingers and hoped that this was your actual work, and not just a photograph of someone elses (I often get disappointed in that way).
I can see this on the wall at a 'Sticky Fingers' restaurant. Or a gallery in New Orleans. :D

Thanks, I did a series of blues and jazz paintings (this being one of them) for a gallery in Southern California a few years ago. One of these days I'm going to get off my lazy ass and start painting again. :lol:

I'm lazy about painting most of the time... it requires so much more setup and space than drawing, waiting for the paint to dry, more expensive materials- you get the idea!

I'm not a big fan of pastel drawings, but i'd be an idiot to not see skill when looking at the picture.
it wouldn't take too much imagination to see this hanging in a museum somewhere.
